Chanterelle

Known for their delicate trumpet shape and golden colour, chanterelles are one of the most treasured wild woodland mushrooms. They grow in damp forests, often appearing amongst moss and leaf litter during the warmer months.

Chanterelles have soft ridges rather than true gills underneath their caps, giving them their distinctive appearance. Their quiet presence amongst the forest floor makes them feel like one of the woodland’s hidden treasures
