Fern

Ferns are among the oldest plants on Earth, thriving in woodlands, riverbanks, and shaded places where moisture lingers. Their distinctive unfurling fronds known as fiddleheads slowly emerge each spring before opening into the delicate forms we recognise throughout the year.
